The World Doesn’t Need Any As@holes
It’s Sunday afternoon.
I’m sitting down, with a cup of coffee, writing this short blog as I digest the Ascend Conference I just attended for the past 3 days.
So many people to meet but so little time to connect with them all.
However, I return home energized knowing one thing is clear…
There are some great human beings in the health insurance industry.
Are all of them the top performers in the industry? No.
Do they have the biggest books of business in the industry? Probably not.
But, none of that matters because they’re people who ALWAYS carry the best intentions and are ALWAYS looking to collaborate and help others grow. That, my friend, is someone I want to surround myself with.
I know I told you in a recent blog that New Year’s Resolutions are unnecessary, but I’m making one right now…
I am no longer willing to connect and collaborate with as@holes.
Why? There’s too many good human beings in this world.
This past year, I surrounded myself with some of the best people I’ve ever met. People who are constantly looking to give without desiring an ounce of “take”. People who are donating their time and money to make this world a better place. It has impacted my business and life in ways I couldn’t have imagined in the past.
Are you going to do the same?
Listen, life is too short. You have too much good to do in this world. Quit wasting your time with people spewing negativity all over you. If you want to have a better life, you have to cut ties with those weighing you down, and surround yourself with a tribe at a higher vibe. I know it’s hard but your future self with thank you for it. Take it from someone who allowed negativity and pessimism to impact my life for FAR TOO LONG.
When the focus is on negativity, only bad things can happen. Do you think the earthquakes, volcanoes, and fires are a coincidence? Hell no. Mother Earth is sick of it too. She’s only manifesting what we’re giving her!!
So, if you choose to let complaining, blaming, and your ego dominate 2020, please do me a favor. Don’t reach out to me. Don’t connect with me. Please just leave me alone.
Why?
There are too many other good human beings to hang around. There are too many others who see every day as an opportunity to do great things for others…for this world. I’m choosing to spend my time with them.
Life is pretty simple when you realize just how great yours is. I know I’m still a work in progress, but I’m going to do everything I can to let positivity influence everything I do. I hope you do too.
If you’re trying to pursue a better life. If you’re striving for better results, I want to end this blog with the most basic piece of advice I will ever give you…
Just don’t be an as@hole.
Focus on raising others up and your life will rise higher than you could ever imagined!
